- Cruciate Ligament Repair
- Tibial Tuberosity Advancement (TTA)
- Extracapsular Lateral Suture (ELS)
- Luxating Patella Correction
- Fracture Repair
Torn ligaments, damaged or unstable joints, and fractures can leave your pet limping and in pain. While medicine can help relieve the pain temporarily, prompt surgical repair helps minimize long term problems.
VSS uses the latest instruments, implants, techniques and procedures to provide a variety of orthopedic surgery to clinics all over Central Florida.
Veterinary Surgery Service uses CO2 lasers for most surgical procedures. The laser beam seals small blood vessels, nerves, and lymphatics, resulting in less bleeding, less swelling, and less pain for your pet.
The laser is particularly well suited for performing surgeries in delicate, highly vascular tissue like feline declaws and resecting elongating soft palates.
The VSS Advantage
We can save you 30% or more over the competition's prices! We keep our overhead low by using surgery suites in local veterinary hospitals when they aren't otherwise in use, then we pass along those savings to our clients.
VSS Network Clinics have dozens of doctors in many locations around Central Florida. This allows for flexible, convenient scheduling options.

"Little TJ was a homeless, feral, 6 month old kitten living on the streets with an awful abscess on his neck. Two surgeries from a previous vet did not hold the wound together due to the location. I reached out to Dr. Wight asking for a wound care expert, TJ needed a more advanced approach. Dr. Wight preformed a third surgery on TJ with success, yea! Since TJ was not totally comfortable around humans we took every precaution when handling him, we whispered and tried not to make sudden moves. Dr. Wight was very determined to give the best care and support to TJ. Thanks again Dr. Wight."
